About me
I'm Lotte Huizenga, a 25-year-old Dutch creative based in Amsterdam. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Multimedia Design, I recently graduated in Illustration and Animation from Art Academy Minerva. You'll often discover me immersed in a sea of paper, adorned in a splash of paint, or endlessly delving into the realms of inspiration on Pinterest.
A collage artist at heart driven by expressive freedom. Life is full of endless possibilities, so why settle for the status quo?
My practice explores how different worlds can be mixed into one, while always striving for balance. Using paper and scissors or digitally, I create new realities piece by piece. Through my experimentations, the elements start talking to each other and have a conversation of their own. Drawing inspiration from hiphop culture, contemporary art, fashion, memes and life: celebrating individuality, authenticity and originality. My style is expressive, bold, with only one rule: to have fun.
